March 1, 2006 - Serious Hack Inc. announced today that it has changed its name to RapidMind Inc. Serious Hack was founded in 2004 to commercialize unique technology that was developed at the renowned University of Waterloo in Canada. The founders had identified early on the performance benefits that were made available by a new generation of processors. RapidMind Inc. is now aggressively developing and marketing this technology in the form of the RapidMind Multi-core Development Platform.
